Gombe State University Mourns the Loss of Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Waziri

It is with deep sadness that Gombe State University announces the passing of Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Waziri, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

Professor Waziri was a renowned academic and administrator who served the university in various capacities, including as former Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Head of the History Department.

The university community is in mourning as they prepare to bid farewell to a dedicated and esteemed colleague. The Janazah prayer will take place at Bubayero Central Masjid after Asr prayer.

The management and staff of Gombe State University extend their heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Professor Waziri, praying that Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Jannatul Firdausi.
