Governor Inuwa Yahaya Sponsors 6,000+ JAMB Forms for Indigent Students in Gombe State

In a significant boost to educational accessibility, the Gombe State Government has announced the procurement of over six thousand (6,000) Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration forms for indigent students across the state. 

The initiative, directed by His Excellency, Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, aims to remove financial barriers for brilliant but underprivileged students seeking admission into tertiary institutions for the 2026 academic session.

The Gombe State Ministry of Higher Education has designated specific Computer Based Test (CBT) centers to facilitate a seamless registration process. Beneficiaries are strictly advised to complete their registration within the following window: 

Start Date: Monday, 23rd February 2026

Closing Date: Saturday, 28th February 2026

To ensure wide coverage across the state’s three senatorial districts, the following centers have been activated:

Gombe State Polytechnic, Bajoga (CBT Center)

Musasa Worldwide Solutions

Model CBT Center, Kaltungo

Pero Chonge JAMB CBT Center, Filiya

Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST), Gombe

The Commissioner for Higher Education, Muhammad Shetima Gadam, emphasized that this gesture is part of the Governor’s broader agenda to reposition Gombe State as a hub for academic excellence. By investing in the foundational step of tertiary entrance, the administration continues to prioritize the empowerment of its youth. 

All eligible candidates are encouraged to visit the nearest designated center promptly to utilize this opportunity.
