Guinea-Bissau Minister of Defense Visits Northwest University Kano

The Minister of Defense of Guinea-Bissau, Mr. Dinisio Cabi, has paid a courtesy visit to Northwest University Kano (NWUK) to strengthen educational ties with Kano State.

The visit was part of an ongoing collaborative effort to promote educational exchange and scholarship opportunities between the Government of Kano State and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.

The Minister's visit followed a recent agreement between the Kano State Governor and the President of Guinea-Bissau to admit 50 students from Guinea-Bissau into Kano State-owned tertiary institutions.

NWUK's Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Aisha Garba Habib, assured the delegation of the university's readiness to cooperate with the Kano State Government in implementing the admission initiative .
