IBB University Moves to Tackle Campus Water Scarcity Linked to Power Grid Instability

The Management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, has assured students and members of the University community that decisive steps are being taken to resolve the current water scarcity affecting parts of the campus.

A statement from the office of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, said the temporary disruption in water supply, which has impacted on some student hostels and academic areas, is attributed to epileptic power supply which is being experienced all over the State.

The Vice Chancellor disclosed that the University Management has directed the Works Department to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the facilities for immediate action.

The statement further appeals for calm, patience, and cooperation during this period, adding that the welfare of students remains paramount.

The Vice Chancellor reassured the students that this challenge is being treated with utmost urgency.
