Igbinedion University Okada Wins Double Recognition at SPE International Awards

Igbinedion University Okada (IUO) has been honoured at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) International Awards, with its Student Chapter receiving the Outstanding SPE Chapter award.

Additionally, the university’s Benin City Section, of which the student chapter is an active part, was awarded the Outstanding Section award. The accolades were presented at the SPE International ceremony in Texas, USA, highlighting IUO’s growing prominence on the global stage.

The university congratulated its students and faculty for their dedication and excellence, noting that the recognition underscores IUO’s commitment to developing future leaders in the energy sector.
