Igbinedion University Pioneers Sustainable Waste Management Initiatives

Igbinedion University, Okada, is set to revolutionize plastic waste management in Nigeria following a delegation's study visit to Greece and Denmark under the SWARM Project. The visit provided insights into advanced recycling processes, integrated municipal systems, and innovative educational approaches, including Problem-Based Learning at Aalborg University.

Inspired by these global best practices, the university is establishing the SWARM Innovation Hub on its campus, which will serve as a national model for sustainable waste management.
