MAUTECH Consultancy Services Initiates Apprenticeship Skill Acquisition Training

MAU Consultancy Services (Nigeria) Limited Training Centre, in partnership with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) unit of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, has launched an Apprenticeship Skill Acquisition Training program.

The induction and orientation ceremony, held on November 8, 2025, brought together participants to embark on a journey of practical skill development.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Iliyasu Audu, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), commended the organizers for their efforts in equipping young Nigerians with employable skills, aligning with the university's vision of promoting entrepreneurial education and self-reliance. The ceremony marked the beginning of training in 16 approved trades, including Electrical Installation and Maintenance, and Solar Energy.

Professor Ahmed Tukur, Director of Corporate Services at MAU Consult, emphasized the centre's commitment to providing theoretical and hands-on experience, aiming to enhance innovation, self-employment, and community development through the apprenticeship program. Trainees were urged to approach the program with dedication, as it promises to create jobs and drive practical solutions for societal benefit.
