INEC to Recruit BUK Staff, Students for 2023 General Elections
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has planned to recruit staff and students of Bayero University, Kano for the 2023 general elections monitored by myschoolnews.

The electoral umpire has notified the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas on the need to mobilize the staff and students who are interested to register online using INECPRESS platform.
th In a letter dated 30 September, 2022 signed by INEC's Administrative Secretary, Garba Lawal Muhammad and addressed to the Vice Chancellor, said “I am pleased to write and inform you that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has opened a portal for the recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the conduct of 2023 general elections.”
The letter explained that the staff and students should register through INECPRESS which is available through the link on INEC website at www.inecnigeria.org (a link for the mobile app and other links are for the web portal. It added that the URL of the registration web portal is https.//pres.inecnigeria.org while the downloaded link for the INECPRES mobile app installer (android phones only) is https://inecpress.app.com/press.
According to the letter, all applicants are encouraged to fill the registration form online to be eligible for consideration as ad-hoc staff.
The letter stated that applicants must not be members of any political party and must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party.
