Kaduna State University Announces Public Holiday

Following the Federal Government's declaration, Kaduna State University (KASU) announces that Monday, September 16, 2024, will be a public holiday to commemorate the celebration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the announcement on behalf of the federal government, urging Muslims and all Nigerians to use this opportunity to pray for enduring peace and a more prosperous nation. He also encouraged the spirit of patience, sacrifice, and resilience.

KASU joins the Muslim Ummah in celebrating this significant occasion and wishes all students, staff, and the university community a peaceful and joyous Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration.
