KASU Holds 8th Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremony for Pharmacy Graduates

Kaduna State University (KASU) celebrated a milestone as the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences held its 8th Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremony on June 11, 2024, at the university's 1000-seater Auditorium.

The ceremony marked the transition of pharmacy students into professional pharmacists, with dignitaries in attendance, including the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa (represented by Prof. Helen Afang Andow), and the Registrar/CEO of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), Pharm. Ibrahim Babashehu Ahmed (represented by Pharm. Fatima Biu).

The event featured inspirational speeches, the administration of the oath, and the presentation of certificates and awards to outstanding graduates. The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences emphasized the importance of upholding ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity.

Parents expressed pride and gratitude, and the graduands' representative delivered a heartfelt valedictory speech. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from the Registrar of KASU, Barr. Samira Balarabe, and the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Musa Itopa Yakubu.
