Kebbi Welcomes Its First Private University, Rayhaan, in January 2024

Prof. Mohammed Ahmadu, Vice Chancellor of Rayhaan University in Kebbi, announced that the institution is set to commence academic activities in January 2024. The private university, the first of its kind in Kebbi State and among the few in the North West Geo-political zone, received approval for 15 courses from the National Universities Commission (NUC).

He emphasized the institution's goal of nurturing students into individuals with sound academic, practical, and moral qualities.
The Vice Chancellor highlighted the significance of Rayhaan University in contributing to quality and functional university education. The institution has been granted a license by the NUC for 15 courses, and Prof. Ahmadu anticipates that the scope and number of courses will expand in the future.
