Kenyon International Recognizes UNIMAID Students' Excellence in Engineering and Geoscience

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has announced that five of its students from the Faculty of Engineering have been recognized by Kenyon International for their outstanding academic achievements.

The students, who excelled in Chemical Engineering and Computer Engineering, were awarded #500,000 each as part of Kenyon International's commitment to nurturing young talent in Africa's energy sector.

The Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Yahya, expressed appreciation for Kenyon International's initiative, stating that it aligns with the university's values of excellence, innovation, and community service. He noted that the support will have a lasting impact on the students and the university community, alleviating financial burdens and enabling the beneficiaries to focus on their academic pursuits.
