The delegation, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, was received by the Foundation’s Managing Director, Dr. Kabiru Uba Ibrahim. The meeting focused on revitalizing the historic ties between the families of the late Khalifa Sheikh Isyaku Rabiu and the late Alhaji Uba Ibrahim Ringim through modern institutional collaboration.
During the session, Dr. Ibrahim outlined the Foundation’s commitment to educational services and proposed several key areas for partnership. Most notably, he sought the University’s technical expertise in transforming the Foundation’s Waqf Library from a traditional analogue system into a state-of-the-art digital and automated hub. “We are ready to formalize this partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU),” Dr. Ibrahim stated, emphasizing the potential for a mutually beneficial relationship.
Responding, Professor Abdulrashid Garba expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed KHAIRUN’s dedication to impactful partnerships. He provided an overview of the University’s rapid growth, noting that its mission remains rooted in the visionary legacy of its founder.
