KHAIRUN Management Holds Ceremonial Meeting with Outgoing NYSC Corps Members

The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), on Monday, 15th December, 2025 has held a brief but colourful ceremonial meeting in honour of outgoing National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members who served in various units of the university.

During the meeting, the corps members formally presented suggestion boxes to the University management as part of their contribution towards enhancing effective information dissemination and strengthening communication within the institution. The gesture was warmly received and commended by the management.

The corps members expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the management for the support, guidance, and conducive working environment provided throughout their service year. They noted that the experience gained at KHAIRUN has been both enriching and impactful, contributing significantly to their personal and professional development.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, on behalf of the management, commended the corps members for their dedication, discipline, and valuable contributions to the growth of the university during their period of service. He described them as hardworking and committed young Nigerians who upheld the values of the NYSC scheme and the ideals of the university.

The Vice-Chancellor further offered words of advice to the outgoing corps members, urging them to remain focused, uphold integrity, and apply the knowledge and experience acquired during their service year as they pursue future endeavours. He also wished them success in their careers and assured them that KHAIRUN will always remember their contributions.
