KHAIRUN Receives Borno State Hajj Commission Delegation, Fulfills Promise to IIQS Library

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), today hosted a delegation from the Borno State Hajj Commission, led by Vice Chairman Honourable Haruna Kukawa, fulfilling a previous pledge to support the KHAIRUN International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS).

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), today hosted a delegation from the Borno State Hajj Commission, led by Vice Chairman Honourable Haruna Kukawa, fulfilling a previous pledge to support the KHAIRUN International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS).

Hon. Kukawa, during his earlier visit to KHAIRUN, had promised to donate traditional Qur’anic writing materials. On this visit, he expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to honour that commitment, emphasizing the importance of promoting Qur’anic education and preserving traditional learning methods.

In his remarks, Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdulrashid Garba welcomed the delegation and, on behalf of the Senate, management, staff, and students, extended heartfelt appreciation for the donation. He highlighted that the contribution would strengthen the IIQS library’s resources and support students dedicated to Qur’anic studies.
