Kogi State Polytechnic Rector Receives Comrade Usman Okai Austin

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has received Comrade Usman Okai Austin, a social media influencer and activist, on a courtesy visit to his office.

During the visit, Comrade Okai congratulated the Rector on his exemplary leadership and lauded the institution's remarkable achievements in infrastructural development, improved academic standards, and repositioning the Polytechnic as an institution of excellence.

The Rector urged Comrade Okai to use his influence to promote unity, peace, progress, and development in Kogi State. Specifically, he suggested that Comrade Okai champion a "Kogi East and or Kogi State Social Media Youth Summit" to discuss the abuse and misuse of social media and promote mutual understanding among citizens.

The Rector reaffirmed the Polytechnic's commitment to sustaining discipline, quality assurance, and infrastructural growth, in line with the vision of the state's governor. He emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue and roundtable discussions in addressing government policies and promoting development.

The Rector appreciated Comrade Okai for his courageous visit to the Governor and expressed confidence that the observations made would be addressed accordingly.
