Kwara State University Appoints Professor Taibat Moji Yusuf as Dean of Agriculture Faculty

Kwara State University (KWASU) has announced the appointment of Professor Taibat Moji Yusuf as the new Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Head of its Ilesha-Baruba Campus.

The appointment, approved by Vice-Chancellor Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh, is for a two-year tenure.

Professor Yusuf, a renowned expert in Agricultural Economics, joined KWASU in July 2013 and was elevated to the rank of Professor in 2022. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan and has received several accolades, including the 2014 D’LINGA Distinguished Leadership Award in National Development and being named a Fellow of the Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development in 2015.

Professor Yusuf is an active member of several professional bodies, including the Agricultural Economics Society (AES), the African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE), and the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE).
