KWASU Centre for Women Development Celebrates First Graduation of Students in Modern Fashion and Digital Entrepreneurship

On October 29, 2024, the KWASU Centre for Women Development and Entrepreneurship in Osi celebrated a significant milestone with the graduation of its first cohort of 10 students. These graduates successfully completed a comprehensive training program focused on modern ladies' wear and the skills necessary for digital entrepreneurship.  

The graduation ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including His Royal Highness Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe, the Olosi of Osi, and the Vice Chancellor of KWASU, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, along with members of the university's extended management team.

As part of the celebration, each graduand received industrial sewing machines and mobile phones. These tools will empower them to engage in economic activities, train other women, and disseminate the skills they have acquired to their communities, thereby promoting entrepreneurship and economic development among women.
