KWASU Dean Inducted as Honorary Fellow of African Forum for Innovative Teachers
The Dean of the Faculty of Education at Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor Ibrahim Laro Abubakar, has been inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the African Forum for Innovative Teachers (AFFiT).
The Dean of the Faculty of Education at Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor Ibrahim Laro Abubakar, has been inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the African Forum for Innovative Teachers (AFFiT).

The induction ceremony was held on July 15, 2026, at the Dean's office in the Faculty of Education.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Professor Abubakar expressed appreciation to the organisation for the recognition, stating that the award has further motivated him to contribute more to the advancement of education.
The AFFiT Project Manager, Lilian Eje, presented the honorary fellowship certificate during the ceremony, which was attended by members of the Faculty of Education as well as executives of the African Forum for Innovative Teachers from the national and Kwara State chapters.

The recognition highlights Professor Abubakar's contributions to education and his commitment to promoting excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
