Lagos State University Opens Recruitment for Vacant Positions at LASU Water Factory

Lagos State University (LASU), through LASU Ventures Limited, has announced vacancies for multiple positions at the institution’s Water Factory located within the university.

In a statement released by the university management, applications are invited from suitably qualified and competent candidates for employment across production, logistics, and marketing units of the factory.

The available positions include Sales and Marketing Officer, Pick Up Van Driver, Driver’s Mate, Machine Operator for Bottle Water Line, Machine Operator for Sachet Water Line, and Sachet Water Sorting and Packing Staff.

According to the advertisement, the Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving revenue generation, developing markets, maintaining customer relationships, and coordinating product distribution. Applicants are required to possess at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with experience in sales or marketing.

For the Pick Up Van Driver role, candidates must possess a valid driver’s licence and between three to five years of driving experience, while Driver’s Mate applicants are expected to have a minimum of SSCE or NECO qualification and be physically fit for manual operations.

The university also announced openings for machine operators in both bottle and sachet water production lines. Candidates applying for the positions are expected to possess at least an OND in a relevant field with experience, or SSCE and NECO qualifications backed by substantial operational experience in water production.

In addition, LASU is seeking sorting and packing staff for sachet water production, with applicants required to demonstrate attention to detail and physical fitness for production activities.

The university stated that remuneration for all positions will be competitive and based on prevailing industry standards.

LASU further noted that successful applicants will be required to meet medical fitness and character assessment conditions and must demonstrate integrity, diligence, and teamwork.

Interested candidates are to submit application letters, detailed curriculum vitae, and copies of credentials to the Director of LASU Ventures Limited, Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State.

The university added that all applications must be submitted within two weeks from the date of publication.
