Lagos State University Staff School Advertises for Vacant Positions

The Lagos State University Staff School Management Board, under the authority of the Secretary to the Management Board, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions in the University Staff Primary School.

Vacant Positions

  1. Mathematics Teacher
  2. English Teacher
  3. Home Economics Teacher
  4. Fine Arts Teacher
  5. Christian Religious Studies Teacher
  6. Social Studies Teacher
  7. Nursery Teacher – Master Grade II
  8. Driver’s Mate

Qualifications and Requirements

(i) Mathematics Teacher: Master Grade I

  • Good honours degree in Mathematics Education (B.Sc Ed.) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of one year post-qualification experience.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(ii) English Teacher: Master Grade I

  • Good honours degree in English Education (B.A. Ed.) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of one year post-qualification experience.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(iii) Home Economics Teacher: Master Grade I

  • Good honours degree in Home Economics Education (B.Sc Ed.) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of one year post-qualification experience.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(iv) Fine Arts Teacher: Master Grade I

  • Good honours degree in Fine and Creative Arts (B.A) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of one year post-qualification experience.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(v) Christian Religious Studies Teacher: Master Grade I

  • Good honours degree in Christian Religious Studies Education (B.A Ed.) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of one year post-qualification experience.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(vi) Social Studies Teacher: Master Grade I

  • Good honours degree in Social Studies Education (B.A Ed.) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of one year post-qualification experience.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(vii) Nursery Teacher: Master Grade II – TSS 05

  • Five (5) credits including English and Mathematics in WAEC/NECO/GCE.
  • NCE Teacher Certificate with three (3) years experience, or a B.Sc (Ed.)/B.A (Ed.).
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(viii) Driver’s Mate

  • First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
  • Trade Test III and II.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience.
