LASU Holds Sensitisation Programme on Reviewed Postgraduate Regulations

Lagos State University recently hosted a sensitisation programme on the reviewed regulations guiding postgraduate programmes. The event aimed to ensure the seamless implementation of the new regulations, which will take effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.

The reviewed regulations introduce uniformity across departments, enhance quality assurance, and establish a Central Review and Regulatory Committee for PhD candidates. The reforms prioritise digitalised processes, strong research ethics, quality supervision, and student welfare.

The university emphasised that its regulations must align with global best practices, ensuring that graduates can stand confidently and competitively anywhere in the world. The sensitisation programme aimed to enhance understanding and compliance among stakeholders, ensuring the smooth rollout of the postgraduate reforms within the university.
