Lagos State University has announced the release of matriculation numbers for the first batch of admitted postgraduate students in the 2024/2025 academic session who have successfully completed their LACACA operations.

Lagos State University has announced the release of matriculation numbers for the first batch of admitted postgraduate students in the 2024/2025 academic session who have successfully completed their LACACA operations.

Admitted students can access their matriculation numbers by following these steps:

  1. Visit the LASU website at www.lasu.edu.ng
  2. Navigate to the STUDENT tab, select CHECK MATRICULATION NUMBER, and click.
  3. Enter the PG application number (PG24…)
  4. Click SUBMIT to view the assigned matriculation number.

The issued matriculation number will now serve as the official identifier for all online academic processes, including fee payment, matriculation fees, course registration, class attendance, and semester examinations.

In addition, students are required to create an account on the Postgraduate Students’ Registration Portal by:

  1. Visiting www.lasu.edu.ng
  2. Selecting STUDENTCOURSE REGISTRATIONCOURSE REG
  3. Clicking Create Account to open a personal account on the portal
  4. Logging in after account creation
  5. Selecting the appropriate programme or degree type
  6. Entering the matriculation number and password, agreeing to the terms, and clicking Login
  7. Completing the course registration for the 2024/2025 session.

The University advises all postgraduate students to ensure that these processes are completed within the stipulated deadline, as late registration will attract penalties.
