LASU Students’ Union Provides Update on NELFUND School Fees Refund

The Lagos State University Students’ Union (LASUSU), led by Union President Comr. Adebayo Korede Peter and the Public Relations Officer, met with University Management today to discuss the ongoing NELFUND school fees payments and refunds.

During the meeting, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor confirmed that the University has received funds covering approximately 7,500 students under the NELFUND scheme. He assured that all administrative processes are in progress and that affected students will have their refunds credited to their accounts shortly.

Students are advised to remain calm and patient while the University completes the necessary procedures. There is no need for students to submit letters regarding the refund process. However, those who wish to verify their names or confirm their status can visit the Office of the Deputy Director, Directorate of Special Intervention, located on the 3rd floor of the Senate Building.

LASUSU reaffirmed its commitment to engaging with University Management and relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and timely resolution of all matters affecting student welfare. Students are strongly advised to ignore unverified information from unreliable sources.
