The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has officially commenced its second-semester examinations for the current academic session.The examinations, consisting of Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and departmental written papers, took off smoothly today, Monday, June 15, 2026.
Professor Mele stated this on Monday, June 15, 2026, while declaring open a two-day specialized workshop organized by the association at the El-Kanemi Hall. The workshop, themed "Scientific Practice and Ethics," gathered laboratory professionals, academics, and key stakeholders to deliberate on best laboratory practices, personnel safety, and contemporary skills development.

Professor Mele assured the association that the university management would continue to support strategic initiatives aimed at upgrading technical skills and fostering professional excellence.
He also extended his appreciation to the organizing committee, university professional unions, and other stakeholders for collaborating to make the workshop a reality, urging the participants to maximize the knowledge gained during the sessions.
