LASUSTECH Opens Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening for 2026/2027 Academic Session

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, has commenced its online Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university invited suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes to participate in the screening exercise, which is conducted entirely online.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the screening exercise:

• Candidates must have chosen Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
• Applicants must have scored a minimum of 195 in the 2026 UTME.
• Candidates must possess the required O'Level credit passes relevant to their chosen course in not more than two sittings.
• Direct Entry candidates must have obtained the Direct Entry application form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and selected LASUSTECH as their first-choice institution.
• Candidates of Lagos State origin applying for either the 100 Level or Direct Entry must have successfully verified their indigeneship through the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) before they can participate in the screening exercise.

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates are required to complete their online screening by visiting the university's admission portal at https://admission.lasustech.edu.ng.

Applicants are to pay:

• Post-UTME screening fee: ₦2,000
• Administrative fee: ₦8,000

Candidates should carefully follow the application guidelines provided on the portal to complete their registration successfully.

Screening Schedule

The online screening portal opened at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026.

General Information

• Candidates must satisfy the O'Level requirements for their chosen programme before participating in the screening exercise.
• All applicants are required to upload their O'Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
• The screening exercise is entirely online and does not require candidates to be physically present on the university campus.
