LAUTECH Postpones 71st Inaugural Lecture Amid End-of-Year Recess

The Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has announced the postponement of its 71st Inaugural Lecture, originally scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025.

The decision, directed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. R. O. R. Kalilu, follows the university's official end-of-year closure which commenced on Monday, December 15, 2025. The lecture has been moved to a later date in the upcoming year to ensure full participation of the university community following the holiday break.

In an official statement, Julianah O. Oyetola, Deputy Registrar (Senate and Exams Unit) and Secretary of the Academic Lectures Committee, expressed regret for any inconveniences caused by the rescheduling.

The Vice-Chancellor extended his best wishes to all staff and students for a peaceful holiday and a prosperous New Year. A new date for the lecture is expected to be communicated through official channels in early 2026.
