LAUTECH Students Encouraged to Pursue Global Opportunities at Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Information Session

Students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have been encouraged to take advantage of global academic opportunities and scholarship programmes capable of advancing their educational and career aspirations.

The encouragement was given during a Mastercard Foundation Scholarship information session organised to enlighten students on available opportunities, eligibility requirements, and the application process for the prestigious scholarship programme.

The session exposed students to pathways for accessing international education opportunities, leadership development initiatives, and platforms designed to support talented young Africans in achieving their academic goals.

Participants were guided on how to strengthen their scholarship applications through academic excellence, leadership experience, community engagement, and a clear demonstration of their potential to contribute positively to society.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is designed to support talented young people from Africa through higher education opportunities while developing their leadership capacity and commitment to social impact. The programme is implemented through partner universities and organisations, with application processes managed by individual partner institutions.

Students were urged to remain proactive in seeking opportunities beyond the classroom, build relevant skills, and position themselves for global competitiveness through continuous learning and personal development.
