MAAUN President Pays Condolence Visit to Emir of Kano Over Demise of Galadiman Kano

Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, President of the MAAUN Group of Universities, paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II, following the passing of Galadiman Kano, Abbass Sunusi.

Professor Gwarzo extended his condolences to the Emir's wife and met with the family of the deceased, who warmly received him alongside Abdullahi Abbas and other family members.

Accompanied by MAAUN President Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, Dr. Bala Muhammad Tukur, and other colleagues, Professor Gwarzo demonstrated his respect for traditional leadership and Kano's heritage. This visit underscores his commitment to education leadership and community engagement.

Galadiman Kano, Abbass Sunusi, was a highly respected figure, and his passing has been mourned by many, including Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Honourable Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, who praised his contributions to the development of Kano State.
