McPherson University Explores Partnership to Expand Infrastructure

McPherson University, Seriki-Sotayo, Ogun State, has commenced discussions with Family Homes Funds Limited, FHFL, on potential Build, Operate and Transfer, BOT, opportunities to support the University’s infrastructure expansion. 

The discussions were led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Francis Igbasan, and Registrar, Mrs Emi’ Alawode, who outlined the University’s strategic infrastructure needs to the FHFL delegation.

This strategic meeting was driven by an astounding student population growth of over 600 percent during Prof. Igbasan’s tenure. To match this rapid increase, the institution has already commissioned over 18 major building projects, creating an urgent yet exciting demand for additional ultra-modern student residential facilities.

Following the executive session, Prof. Igbasan guided the FHFL delegation on an extensive walk-through of the campus infrastructure. The tour showcased both fully operational facilities and rapidly progressing construction sites destined to house the next generation of scholars.

FHFL representative Deolu Odunaiya lauded the superior structural finishing of completed buildings, specifically praising the generous room dimensions designed to optimize natural lighting and cross-ventilation. At active development sites, the visiting team commended the top-tier materials and craftsmanship while emphasizing strict adherence to global occupational safety protocols.

Prof. Igbasan expressed deep appreciation for the delegation's candid appraisal, emphasizing that McPherson University maintains an unwavering commitment to structural integrity. He affirmed that the university refuses to cut corners, as these developments are engineered not merely for immediate operational utility, but as enduring legacies.

Reflecting on the shared values demonstrated throughout the visit, leadership from both organizations expressed strong optimism for a transformative infrastructure partnership. This collaborative venture will ensure McPherson University comfortably accommodates its ever-growing student body for years to come.
