Meet Ikegbo Stanley, the best ATBU 500-level student from Computer and Communication Engineering

Ikegbo Stanley Ogochukwu hails from Orumba South Local Government area of Anambra State. He was born and brought up in Bauchi local government area of the State.

He attended St. Paul's Primary School, Bauchi, where he served as assistant head boy. After graduation, he furthered his education at the same citadel of learning, St. Paul's Secondary School, Bauchi. At the apex of his stay at the institution, he also served as the Assistant Head Boy.

During his secondary school days, he received numerous awards for representing his school at a series of competitions, including coming 1st Position at the Cowbell State Level (Junior Secondary), Bronze medal at the NAFDAC consumer safety club competitions National level, and Gold medal at the Olympiad Math Competition State level.

In 2017, he sat for UTME where he scored a whopping 320 points. He was later admitted into the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering, ATBU Bauchi. Since then, he has distinguished himself by becoming one of the best students not only within his department but also within the Faculty of Engineering as a whole.

He is a core Founding Member of Ai Bauchi and currently serves as the association's Event and Liaison Officer. He, along with others in collaboration with NUESA, hosted an 11-week tech boot camp and training last semester.

Presently, he is an intern and Instructor at Nascomsoft Embedded, one of the leading firms that specialize in teaching tech within Bauchi metropolis. He obtained basic and advanced diplomas at Nascomsoft Embedded. He is proficient in Python, C++, JavaScript, and specializes in embedded systems, Data Science, and Machine Learning.

He has worked on numerous Machine Learning and Data Science projects, including Power Supply Forecasting, Fake Currency Detection System, and Covid-19 Vaccination Rate Forecasting, amongst others.

He is presently a student at AltSchool Africa School of Data Science and serves as a Data Science Co-Instructor at Nascomsoft Embedded.
