Meet the first Niqabite to bag a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan

Motunrayo Kafilat Oyaremi has made history as the first veiled Muslim woman to earn a PhD from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her remarkable achievement showcases her dedication to academic excellence and her unwavering commitment to her faith.

She earned her first degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan in 2005, followed by a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.
