Motunrayo Kafilat Oyaremi has made history as the first veiled Muslim woman to earn a PhD from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her remarkable achievement showcases her dedication to academic excellence and her unwavering commitment to her faith.

Oyaremi's academic journey is a testament to her resilience and perseverance. She earned her first degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan in 2005, followed by a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She then pursued her PhD in Educational Evaluation, specializing in Early Childhood Education, which she completed in 2019.
