Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has directed the immediate enforcement of the use of identification cards by all staff and students within the university premises. The measure is aimed at enhancing security and access control across the campus.

An internal memo issued by the Registrar, Mustafa U. Migawa, mnim, on January 6, 2026, announced that all individuals must wear their identification cards "chest on him" (displayed prominently) when accessing any office within the university.
