MSSN-ADUSTECH Hosts Grand Ramadan Iftar, Uniting University Leadership, Scholars, and Student Bodies
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil Branch, successfully hosted its Annual Ramadan Iftar Gathering on Wednesday, 15th Ramadan 1447 AH (4th March 2026) at the New Campus Mosque, bringing together distinguished members of the university management, scholars, alumni, student leaders, and members of the wider university community.
The event, hosted by the Ameer of MSSN-ADUSTECH, Ammar Ishaq Kusada, served as a spiritual and communal platform aimed at fostering unity, strengthening brotherhood, and promoting moral and ethical values among students and members of the university community, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The Grand Iftar was graced by the presence of several prominent personalities, including the University Chief Imam, Prof. Auwal Ibrahim Magashi; the Director of University Security Services; Prof. Muhammad Alhaji; Dr. Ibrahim Isah Fagge; the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs Division; the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs (Student Matters), Mal. Muhammad Yusuf; the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs (Utilities), Mal. Miftahu Ringim; the Chairman of ASUU-KUST, Prof. Aliyu Yusuf; the Ameer of the KUST Muslim Forum, Prof. Ado Abdu; the Secretary of the KUST Muslim Forum, Dr. Abdulmalik Ahmad Lawan; the Ameer of MSSN Wudil Area Council, Mal. Zakariyya Aliyu Balarabe; and the Wudil Divisional Leader of the First Aid Group (FAG) of JIBWIS and his entourage.
Other notable attendees included the University Ramadan Tafseer Lead Presenter, Malam Abubakar Mai Turare; Wudil philanthropist, Alhaji Nura Muhammad An-Nasiha; the Imam of the University Central Mosque, Malam Sabo Garko; Malam Hussaini Garba; Malam Muhammad Sani; Malam Dahiru Ahmad; and Ameer Aliyu Muhammad Kamilu, alongside many other respected scholars and religious leaders.
The gathering also witnessed the participation of sister-unions leadership across the university, led by the President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG), Sen. Hassan Sanusi Kani, together with representatives of several sister unions including NAKSS, KADSSU, NAJISS, NAKATSS, NAAS, NASS, ACOMASS, NUESA, ESSA, ESAN, and the MSMN.
Speaking after the event, the Ameer of MSSN-ADUSTECH, Ammar Ishaq Kusada, expressed deep appreciation to all distinguished guests and participants for honouring the invitation and contributing to the success of the gathering.
He also extended heartfelt gratitude, on behalf of the Branch Executive Council, to the Iftar Ad-hoc Committee, Organising Committee, ICT Committee, the Sisters’ Wing, and the entire Ummah for their tireless efforts and dedication in ensuring the successful organisation of the event.
The MSSN-ADUSTECH Branch reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Islamic values, moral discipline, and intellectual excellence within the university community while continuing to serve as a platform for spiritual growth, unity, and responsible leadership among Muslim students.
The event concluded with prayers for peace, unity, and continued progress within the university and the wider Muslim Ummah.
