NANS criticized the university's Vice Chancellor for implementing the levy without consulting stakeholders, adding that it places unnecessary financial strain on students amid challenging economic conditions. They also condemned the indefinite suspension of the SUG election, calling it a move that creates a leadership vacuum and stifles student representation.

The association urged the Assembly to intervene promptly to prevent potential unrest and instability on campus.
