UNIPORT Governing Council Visits Chief Frank Owhor to Condole with Family over Mother’s Death
The Governing Council of the University of Port Harcourt has paid a condolence visit to Chief Frank Owhor, National Commissioner of the North East Development Commission, following the death of his mother, Mama Owhor.
The Governing Council of the University of Port Harcourt has paid a condolence visit to Chief Frank Owhor, National Commissioner of the North East Development Commission, following the death of his mother, Mama Owhor.

The Chairman of the Governing Council, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, led members of the Council on the condolence visit.
Speaking on behalf of the Council, Senator Ohuabunwa commiserated with Chief Owhor and the entire Owhor family over the loss.
He described the deceased as a woman who lived a fulfilled and impactful life, noting that her legacy would endure through her family and the values she instilled in them.
The Governing Council Chairman prayed that God would grant the bereaved family the strength and fortitude to cope with the loss and grant the deceased eternal rest.
Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Chike Princewill R. Chike, had paid tribute to the late Mama Owhor, describing her as a woman who lived a good and meaningful life.

Professor Chike also expressed the University's condolences to Chief Owhor and his family, praying that they would receive comfort and strength as they mourn their loss.
