Nasarawa State University Hosts Workshop on Cybersecurity and Data Science Innovation

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), through its Centre for Cyberspace Studies, recently organized a workshop focused on "Critical Thinking and Innovation in Cybersecurity and Data Science."

The event, held at the university's ICT Centre on November 12, 2025, aimed to foster scientific research, innovation, and address emerging national security challenges.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdullahi Adamu Sulaiman emphasized the workshop's significance in enhancing quality research and advancing national security objectives. The Director of the Centre for Cyberspace Studies, Professor Gilbert Aimufua, noted that the workshop is a practical demonstration of NSUK's commitment to high-impact research and strengthening Nigeria's cybersecurity ecosystem.
