National Universities Commission Visits McPherson University for Accounting Programme Accreditation

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has conducted an accreditation visit to McPherson University to evaluate its Accounting Programme. The visit is part of the commission's routine exercise to ensure that academic programmes in Nigerian universities meet the required standards of quality and relevance.

The accreditation team, comprising Professor John Ohaka, Professor Sunday Nnalanga, and Dr. Bridget Audu, assessed the university's facilities, curriculum content, staffing, and learning resources supporting the programme. The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Isaac Onigbinde, welcomed the team and assured that the university would act on any recommendations from the exercise to further improve the programme. The NUC team commended McPherson University for its conducive learning environment and well-equipped library, highlighting the institution's commitment to academic excellence.
