Nasarawa State University, Keffi Set to Host Historic 8th Combined Convocation and 25th Anniversary Celebration
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), is preparing for a landmark double celebration as it announces its 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony and 25th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled to take place from 8th to 11th April 2026.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman (Fellow; UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFPN, CBER), on behalf of the University Council, Senate, Staff, and Students, has officially extended an invitation to the general public and the academic community to witness this historic milestone.
The 2026 ceremonies mark a significant silver jubilee for the institution. Since its founding, NSUK has grown into a leading center for research and learning in North-Central Nigeria. The 25th-anniversary events will reflect on the university's journey, achievements, and its evolving role in national development.
The four-day event will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and Visitor to the University, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, FNSE, FNIPR. Governor Sule’s presence underscores the state government’s continued commitment to the growth and sustainability of the institution.
The 8th Combined Convocation will see the conferment of degrees, diplomas, and honorary titles upon deserving graduates who have completed their various courses of study. This ceremony is expected to draw a large gathering of dignitaries, traditional rulers, parents, and alumni to the Keffi campus.
Detailed schedules for the specific daily activities, including the convocation lecture and the main award ceremony, are expected to be released by the University’s Information and Protocol Unit in the coming days.
