Nasarawa State University, Keffi Strengthens Ties with Central Mining Institute in Poland

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) is expanding its collaboration with the Central Mining Institute - National Research Institute (GIG-PIB) in Katowice, Poland.
The NSUK Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, engaged in discussions with GIG-PIB Director, Professor Stanislaw Prusek, through the Director of Linkages and International Cooperation, Dr. K'tso Ngharbu.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in research and training in Mining, Geology, and Environmental Engineering. Professor Prusek acknowledged the existing partnership, including the appointment of Professor Adam Smolinski as a faculty member at NSUK, and expressed commitment to further enhancing the collaboration.
This development is expected to foster greater academic and research exchange between NSUK and GIG-PIB, promoting mutual growth and development in the fields of Mining, Geology, and Environmental Engineering.
