Nasarawa State University Mandates Urgent Completion of 2024/2025 Second Semester Examinations
The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has issued a strict directive for all departments, centers, and institutes to immediately conclude their outstanding Second Semester examinations for the 2024/2025 academic session.
In an internal memo dated January 13, 2026, the SPGS management noted that some units have yet to finish conducting these crucial examinations, which poses a threat to the integrity of the academic calendar and the smooth commencement of the new session.
Compliance Deadline Set
To ensure academic synchrony, the university administration requires all affected units to take immediate action:
Release timetables for all pending courses immediately.
Conclude all examinations within the next two weeks.
The directive strictly prohibits lectures for the new academic session from overlapping with examinations from the previous session.
Emphasis on Academic Integrity
Umar Shehu, the Secretary of the SPGS, who signed the memo for the Dean, reiterated the importance of adhering to the University’s established academic calendar. The administration emphasized that respecting the calendar is essential to protect the interests of the students and maintain the quality of the academic programmes.
The university thanked the staff for their dedication to academic excellence and urged prioritization of this directive to ensure a seamless transition into the new session.
