National Blood Services Agency Delegation Visits University of Maiduguri

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, recently received a delegation from the National Blood Services Agency (NBSA) to advocate for improved blood donation awareness and collaboration.

Led by the Northeast Zonal Director of NBSA, Dr. Mohammed Kabir Ahmed, the delegation emphasized the critical role universities play in promoting voluntary blood donation and ensuring a steady supply for medical emergencies .

Professor Mele welcomed the delegation and commended the agency's efforts in saving lives through blood services. He assured them of the university's full support in achieving their mandate, highlighting the university's commitment to fostering health-related initiatives that benefit both the university community and the wider society.
