Saratu Dan-Azumi, an 11-year-old Nigerian girl, has gained recognition for her exceptional mathematical skills, particularly her ability to calculate numbers in millions without assistance.
The young genius from Kano State demonstrated her talent by accurately answering numerical questions, including calculating the number of days a 30-year-old has lived on earth.
Despite facing bullying and dropping out of school, Saratu's talent was spotted by her mother, Malama Rabiatu, who encouraged her to continue learning.
Saratu's exceptional abilities have earned her scholarships from the Bashir Ahmad Foundation and the World Bank's Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment program, enabling her to continue her education.
With these opportunities, Saratu aims to pursue higher education and become a university graduate, fulfilling her mother's dreams for her future.
