LASUED Organizes Practical Assessment Exhibition for 300-Level Students
LASUED recently held a Practical Assessment Exhibition for 300-level students across its Oto/Ijanikin and Odo-Noforija Epe campuses on March 25, 2025.

Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has successfully hosted a Practical Assessment Exhibition for its 300-level students, an initiative aimed at enhancing their entrepreneurial and technical skills. The event, organized by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Skills Development (DESD), took place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at both the Oto/Ijanikin main campus and the Odo-Noforija Epe campus simultaneously.
The exhibition, part of the Students' Skills and Acquisition Programme (SAP 001), provided a platform for students to showcase their innovative projects and demonstrate their expertise in various fields of entrepreneurship. The event underscored LASUED's commitment to equipping students with essential skills that promote self-reliance and reduce dependence on white-collar jobs.
Representing the Vice Chancellor, Professor Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye, the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Dr. Daodu M.A., and the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Dr. Shittu M.A., assessed the students' projects and commended their creativity. They also encouraged the students to leverage their skills in shaping successful entrepreneurial careers.
It is noteworthy that prior to this exhibition, the 100 and 200-level students had their own Practical Assessment Exhibition on Friday, February 14, 2025, further highlighting LASUED’s dedication to hands-on learning and practical skill development.
The university’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship through initiatives like SAP 001 aligns with its broader vision of producing graduates who are not only academically proficient but also equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in a competitive labor market.
