NSUK Vice-Chancellor Leads Delegation on Condolence Visit to Senator Godiya Akwashiki’s Family

In a demonstration of solidarity and respect, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, (NSUK) Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, led a high-powered delegation of Principal Officers on a condolence visit to the family of the late Distinguished Senator Godiya Akwashiki on Monday, 12th January, 2026.

In her condolence message, Professor Liman eulogised late Senator Akwashiki, describing him as a selfless leader who touched many lives positively and served his people with dedication and distinction. She noted that his contributions to society and public service would remain enduring legacies.

The Vice-Chancellor urged the bereaved family to accept the passing of Senator Akwashiki as the will of the Almighty God and prayed that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The high point of the visit was a special prayer session offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Linkages), Dr. K'tso Nghargbu.
