NSUK Wins Best Paper Award at ICiFIL 2024 in Malaysia

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), is making waves at the 2nd International Conference on Islamic Financial Literacy (ICiFIL 2024) in Malaysia. The conference, organized by the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) at the Adya Hotel in Langkawi, has become a platform for academic excellence and innovation.

Professor Rashidah Funke Olarenwaju presented her paper titled "Sustainable Development Through Islamic Finance: The NutriBite Initiative's Impact on Hunger and Malnutrition," which was awarded the Best Paper Award. This recognition highlights the importance of sustainable development practices and their impact on global challenges such as hunger and malnutrition.

The delegation from NSUK is led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman and includes key members such as the Director of Academic Planning, Professor Abdullahi Adamu Sulaiman, Dr. Alhassan Muhammad Yunus, and Dr. Yusuf Alhaji Usman.
