NUSRET Director General Visits Gombe State University to Strengthen Strategic Partnerships

The Director General of NUSRET Educational and Cultural Company Ltd, Nigeria, Mr. Hussein Selvi, has paid a courtesy visit to Gombe State University (GSU) to appreciate the Vice-Chancellor for his support during the recently concluded conference and to explore further areas of collaboration.

Mr. Bayder, who was accompanied by the Director General of NUSRET Northeast, described the partnership with GSU as impactful, recalling that NUSRET’s first conference in Northeast Nigeria was hosted by GSU with international participants in attendance. He expressed NUSRET’s interest in strengthening academic and cultural collaboration with the University.

The delegation also visited the International Institute for Islamic Research (IIIR), GSU, where discussions were held on potential joint programmes. The Director of the Institute, Professor Shamsudeen Umar Ilyas, participated in discussions aimed at advancing institutional cooperation.

Mr. Bayder assured the Vice-Chancellor of NUSRET’s readiness to deepen collaboration and announced plans to formally invite him to the NUSRET Centre in Abuja for further engagement.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta appreciated NUSRET for its continued goodwill and reaffirmed the University’s openness to partnerships that align with its vision and mandate.
