The Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN), on Thursday, September 25, 2025, hosted the Third Quarter Joint SIWES Coordinators and Organized Private Sector (OPS) Zonal Meeting in collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

The Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN), on Thursday, September 25, 2025, hosted the Third Quarter Joint SIWES Coordinators and Organized Private Sector (OPS) Zonal Meeting in collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

The Provost, Dr. Justina Anyadiegwu, represented by the Director of Advancement and Linkages, Dr. Joy Ezidimma, welcomed ITF officials and SIWES Directors/Coordinators from institutions across Anambra State. She highlighted the importance of the programme in preparing students for the workforce and commended the collaborative spirit that sustains its impact.

In her remarks, the ITF Area Manager, Mrs. Gloria Ekwuruke Henry, appreciated the College for hosting and pledged continued commitment to upholding SIWES standards.

The meeting was attended by SIWES Directors from Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze; Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli Campus; Madonna University, Okija; and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, alongside NOCEN officials including the Dean, School of Vocational and Technical Education (SVTE), Dr. Generosa Okonkwo, and departmental SIWES Coordinators.

The session was highly interactive, with participants expressing satisfaction over the deliberations and the strengthening of partnerships for the continued success of SIWES.
