OAUSTECH Releases Approved Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session

The management of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The schedule outlines major academic and administrative activities for both the first and second semesters.

First Semester

• Monday, 3rd November 2025: Resumption of academic activities and registration for both old and new students.
• Monday, 10th November 2025: Commencement of first semester lectures.
• Monday, 8th – Wednesday, 10th December 2025: Orientation programme for newly admitted students (100 level and Direct Entry).
• Friday, 19th December 2025: Release of first draft of examination timetable and end of normal registration.
• Friday, 19th December 2025 – Friday, 2nd January 2026: Christmas and New Year break (two weeks).
• Monday, 5th January 2026: Commencement of late registration.
• Friday, 16th January 2026: Release of final draft of examination timetable.
• Monday, 19th – Friday, 23rd January 2026: Continuation of lectures and mid-semester tests.
• Wednesday, 4th February 2026: Matriculation ceremony for new students.
• Monday, 9th – Friday, 13th February 2026: Lecture-free week.
• Monday, 16th February – Saturday, 7th March 2026: First semester examinations.
• Wednesday, 4th March 2026: Convocation ceremony.
• Monday, 10th – Friday, 20th March 2026: First semester break (two weeks).

Second Semester

• Monday, 23rd March 2026: Resumption and registration for second semester.
• Monday, 30th March 2026: Commencement of second semester lectures.
• Wednesday, 22nd April 2026: Senate meeting to consider first semester results.
• Friday, 24th April 2026: Release of first draft of second semester examination timetable and end of normal registration.
• Monday, 27th April 2026: Commencement of late registration.
• Monday, 4th – Friday, 8th May 2026: Continuation of lectures and mid-semester tests.
• Monday, 25th May 2026: Release of final draft of second semester examination timetable.
• Monday, 15th – Friday, 19th June 2026: Lecture-free week.
• Monday, 22nd June – Saturday, 11th July 2026: Second semester examinations.
• Wednesday, 26th August 2026: Senate meeting for the consideration of second semester results.
