The Management of Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences (OSPOHAS), Ilese-Ijebu, has issued a statement regarding a security incident that occurred shortly after the recent Mtriculation Ceremony.
The Management of Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences (OSPOHAS), Ilese-Ijebu, has issued a statement regarding a security incident that occurred shortly after the recent Matriculation Ceremony on campus.
According to the report:
- An individual not enrolled at the Polytechnic was found smoking an illegal substance on the school field by a police officer.
- During the attempt to contain the situation, the Students’ Union Government (SUG) President was assaulted by the officer while trying to understand the circumstances.
The situation was promptly managed by the Chief Security Officer (CSO) in collaboration with the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ilese Police Station. The matter was resolved amicably at the police station, and campus activities returned to normal without further escalation.

- The Polytechnic reaffirms its commitment to student safety, campus discipline, and the protection of all community members.
